A first-ever attempt to consolidate the many sources of information across Hong Kong to reflect the up-to-date scenario of children with special needs. Many have argued that the increasing demands of services for children with special needs are not adequately met. It is therefore of vital importance to get an accurate picture of the present situation through a comprehensive survey among associations and professional bodies in order to help policy makers and service providers to devise solutions that better cater to the needs of our community.
